Tale of Two Homelands
Tale of Two Homelands is a song for anyone who has family roots anchored in two different places. Although transferable to many people’s lives, it describes my personal story of having grown up within an Irish community in England. Written and sung in a traditional and celtic way, It tells a story of identifying and belonging to multiple places and cultures. Using landscapes, music and people, this song is a comparison of these places which ultimately shows both their differences and similarities.
Recorded as an acoustic track, the simplicity of the vocals and guitar create an honest and enchanting piece of music which is sentimental and evokes memories of home.

Donegal Rainclouds
Donegal Rainclouds was written after a trip to the family homestead in Ireland in 2018.

I walked the tracks which my Granny once walked, I saw where she went to school and explored the dramatic (rainy...) landscapes beneath the Blue Stack Mountains.
This is a deeply personal song, all about Irish family roots, written and sung in a very traditional Celtic way.
